SOPHIE ROTHBARTH

| Bio |

I am a Berlin-based composer of media-related as well as autonomous music.

My works include compositions for film, radio drama and theater. In addition, I have written autonomous music for orchestra, different ensembles and solo instruments, like the Matangi String Quartet and the Orkest De Ereprijs.

Besides my popular musical background as a singer-songwriter, my music is influenced by classical, minimal-, ambient- and jazz music.

After completing my bachelor's degree in composition for film and theatre at ArtEZ University of the Arts in Arnhem (Netherlands), I am currently studying film music at Filmuniversität Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF.
